Rude! Stage-crasher interrupts the People's Choice Awards (VIDEO)
Yo. I'ma let you finish but Kevin Gates hadis coming out with one of the greatest albums of all time. Or at least that's what this kid thought. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=manUPIk47dk The yet-to-be-identified youth crashed the stage at tonight's People's Choice Awards and promptly Kanye'd The Talk's Sharon Osbourne, Julie Chen, Sheryl Underwood, Aisha Tyler and Sara Gilbert as the co-hosts were trying to accept the award for favorite daytime hosting team. But Sheryl and Sharon just weren't havin' it. The duo put the team on their backs and handled the Kevin Gates/Yeezy stan themselves, kicking him (quite literally) off the stage. No details yet on how the stage-crasher was able to get past security, but it appears that he, indeed, jumped over the Jumpman. The security team at Microsoft Theater and People's Choice spokespeople have so far denied USA TODAY's request for comment.

Teen Model Molly O'Malia, 14, Accuses Tyga of Sending Her 'Uncomfortable' Messages Online: Watch the Emotional Press Conference

An aspiring model-singer named Molly O'Malia broke down in tears about rapper Tyga during a press conference on Monday, January 4. The 14-year-old, joined by famed lawyer Gloria Allred, claimed that Kylie Jenner's boyfriend had sent her unwanted messages online.
O'Malia alleged that Tyga, 26, contacted her first on Instagram. "I knew who he was but I was surprised that he was contacting me. I thought that it could possibly be about my music, but he did not mention that in his initial communication with me," O'Malia said on Monday, via a video of the conference obtained by TMZ. "I thought that was strange, but I was thinking he would bring that up in his next message to me. However, he didn't mention it in the next message." Biggest Celebrity Scandals of 2015 O'Malia alleged that she became "uncomfortable" when Tyga wanted to speak on FaceTime. "He asked me to FaceTime three times, but I did not do it," she continued. "Because of my discomfort with why he wanted to communicate with me I quickly stopped responding to him. It's crazy how so much can come out of nothing."

O'Malia decided to come forward after reports claimed that she was hooking up with the "Stimulated" entertainer, and that she came between Tyga and Jenner, 18. "I don't want what happened to me to happen to any other young girl," she added. Tyga, meanwhile, has since denied the allegations. His manager Anthony Martini told TMZ that the star did get in touch with O'Malia, but about a music opportunity. Tyga's team reportedly found out that O'Malia had a big online following and Tyga wanted to possibly work with her on a project via his record label, Last Kings Records. In addition, TMZ obtained messages of O'Malia reportedly telling Tyga that she was 17 and not 14.

Considering Credit Cards Get Some Tips Here!

The fact that credit card companies can change the interest rate on debts that were incurred when a different rate of interest was in place is similar to adjustable rate mortgages where interest rates on current debt may rise. However, in both cases, this is agreed to in advance, and is a trade off that allows a lower initial rate as well as the possibility of an even lower rate (mortgages, if interest rates fall) or perpetually keeping a below market rate (credit cards, if the user makes their debt payments on time). The universal default practice was encouraged by federal regulators, particularly those at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), as a means of managing the changing risk profiles of cardholders. An estimated two thirds of consumers who own credit cards in this country have an outstanding balance. That means that a lot of consumers with credit cards will be affected by the new restricted lending standards of banks. Call your bank if you have received a notice of modifications to your credit card account. If you make your payments on time and historically carry little balance, it is likely the bank will restore your old terms. You do not stand a good chance if your account is not in good standing or you carry a large balance regularly.

Most U.S. credit cards are quoted in terms of nominal annual percentage rate (APR) compounded daily, or sometimes (and especially formerly) monthly, which in either case is not the same as the effective annual rate (EAR). Despite the "annual" in APR, it is not necessarily a direct reference for the interest rate paid on a stable balance over one year.
Think you've got it bad with the fees your credit card charges you? Well try this: $247 up-front, for a $300 credit line... And that's not the worst of it!
Early credit cards in the U.S., of which BankAmericard was the most prominent example, were mass produced and mass mailed unsolicited to bank customers who were thought to be good credit risks. But, "They have been mailed off to unemployables, drunks, narcotics addicts and to compulsive debtors, a process President Johnson's Special Assistant Betty Furness found very like 'giving sugar to diabetics'." These mass mailings were known as "drops" in banking terminology, and were outlawed in 1970 due to the financial chaos they caused. However, by the time the law came into effect, 100 million credit cards had been dropped into the U.S. population. After 1970, only credit card applications could be sent unsolicited in mass mailings. Multiple purchases lead to accumulated debts and with high interests, one can expect to pay more than he or she should. Skipping a single payment and you end up with a shocking monthly bill. In this article, we will discuss several ways to avoid getting trapped under multiple financial obligations brought on by credit cards. A credit card is different from a charge card: a charge card requires the balance to be paid in full each month. In contrast, credit cards allow the consumers a continuing balance of debt, subject to interest being charged. A credit card also differs from a cash card, which can be used like currency by the owner of the card. A credit card differs from a charge card also in that a credit card typically involves a third party entity that pays the seller and is reimbursed by the buyer, whereas a charge card simply defers payment by the buyer until a later date. After purchasing the card, the cardholder loads the account with any amount of money, up to the predetermined card limit and then uses the card to make purchases the same way as a typical credit card. Prepaid cards can be issued to minors (above 13) since there is no credit line involved. The main advantage over secured credit cards (see above section) is that the cardholder is not required to come up with $500 or more to open an account. With prepaid credit cards purchasers are not charged any interest but are often charged a purchasing fee plus monthly fees after an arbitrary time period. Many other fees also usually apply to a prepaid card. Those things are the typical reasons why credit cards are popular to most people and all because of convenience; whatever the reason, applying for and using a credit card should not be done in an impulsive manner.

Payment card numbers are found on payment cards, such as credit cards and debit cards, as well as stored value cards, gift cards and other similar cards. Some card issuers refer to the card number as the primary account number or PAN. They have a certain level of internal structure and share a common numbering scheme. Bank card numbers are allocated in accordance with ISO/IEC 781 The bank card number merely identifies the card, which is then electronically associated by the issuing organisation with one of its customers and then to the customer's designated bank accounts. In the case of stored value type cards, there is no necessary association with a particular customer.

In recent times, credit card portfolios have been very profitable for banks, largely due to the booming economy of the late 1990s. However, in the case of credit cards, such high returns go hand in hand with risk, since the business is essentially one of making unsecured (uncollateralized) loans, and thus dependent on borrowers not to default in large numbers. As well as convenient credit, credit cards offer consumers an easy way to track expenses, which is necessary for both monitoring personal expenditures and the tracking of work related expenses for taxation and reimbursement purposes. Credit cards are accepted in larger establishments in almost all countries, and are available with a variety of credit limits, repayment arrangements. Some have added perks (such as insurance protection, rewards schemes in which points earned by purchasing goods with the card can be redeemed for further goods and services or cashback). The original goal of BofA was to offer the BankAmericard product across California, but in 1965, BofA began to sign licensing agreements with a group of banks outside of California. BofA itself (like all other U.S. banks at the time) could not expand directly into other states due to federal restrictions not repealed until 199 Over the following 11 years, various banks licensed the card system from Bank of America, thus forming a network of banks backing the BankAmericard system across the United States. The "drops" of unsolicited credit cards continued unabated, thanks to BofA and its licensees and competitors, until they were outlawed in 1970 due to the serious financial chaos they caused, but not before over 10060;million credit cards had been distributed into the American population. In addition to the main credit card number, credit cards also carry issue and expiration dates (given to the nearest month), as well as extra codes such as issue numbers and security codes. Not all credit cards have the same sets of extra codes nor do they use the same number of digits. The database also feeds into an interactive tool on the FCAC website. The interactive tool uses several interview type questions to build a profile of the user's credit card usage habits and needs, eliminating unsuitable choices based on the profile, so that the user is presented with a small number of credit cards and the ability to carry out detailed comparisons of features, reward programs, interest rates, etc.

The numbers of people who are facing mounting credit card debts are on the rise. While it's true that credit cards have numerous benefits, it can cause one's financial situation to spiral out of control quickly if he or she is not able to use credit cards responsibly. Because credit card companies make it so appealing to enroll for a card via perks, bonuses, zero interest purchases and special privileges, more and more people are using credit cards much more than debit cards. Bad credit cards are of great benefit to those people who have poor credit, perhaps through circumstances in the past that were beyond their control. The convenience of being able to pay using a credit card, particularly over the phone or online, is undisputed, and not having access to a card can present real problems. However, it is important to be very aware of not only the increased charges associated with bad credit cards but also the consequences of not maintaining such a card in good order.

First, the cards themselves are being replaced with similar looking tamper resistant smart cards which are intended to make forgery more difficult. The majority of smart card (IC card) based credit cards comply with the EMV (Europay MasterCard Visa) standard. Second, an additional 3 or 4 digit Card Security Code (CSC) is now present on the back of most cards, for use in card not present transactions. Stakeholders at all levels in electronic payment have recognized the need to develop consistent global standards for security that account for and integrate both current and emerging security technologies. They have begun to address these needs through organizations such as PCI DSS and the Secure POS Vendor Alliance. The ideal option for mobile merchants then is to upgrade their payment system to a wireless credit card terminal that can read a credit cards magnetic strip. This is a simple step that will ensure mobile merchants receive all the revenue for credit card transactions and reduce risk of chargebacks. The addition of a wireless credit card terminal also creates ease in the payment process, which will inevitably lead to increased sales and less wait time for customers. Finally, swiping the card instead of keying in a card will result in lower fees. Many credit cards offer rewards and benefits packages, such as enhanced product warranties at no cost, free loss/damage coverage on new purchases, various insurance protections, for example, rental car insurance, common carrier accident protection, and travel medical insurance. Credit card debt has increased steadily. Since the late 1990s, lawmakers, consumer advocacy groups, college officials and other higher education affiliates have become increasingly concerned about the rising use of credit cards among college students. The major credit card companies have been accused of targeting a younger audience, especially college students, many of whom are already in debt with college tuition fees and college loans and who typically are less experienced at managing their own finances. Credit card debt may also negatively affect their grades as they are likely to work more both part and full time positions.

Hacking has become an important tool in the hand of cyber criminals to take away the confidential information relating to credit cards and use it illegally for their personal advantage i.e. purchasing goods or online transaction of money etc. Secured credit cards are an option to allow a person with a poor credit history or no credit history to have a credit card which might not otherwise be available. They are often offered as a means of rebuilding one's credit. Fees and service charges for secured credit cards often exceed those charged for ordinary non secured credit cards. For people in certain situations, (for example, after charging off on other credit cards, or people with a long history of delinquency on various forms of debt), secured cards are almost always more expensive than unsecured credit cards. Prior to credit cards, each merchant had to evaluate each customer's credit history before extending credit. That task is now performed by the banks which assume the credit risk. Credit cards can also aid in securing a sale, especially if the customer does not have enough cash on his or her person or checking account. Extra turnover is generated by the fact that the customer can purchase goods and/or services immediately and is less inhibited by the amount of cash in his or her pocket and the immediate state of his or her bank balance. Much of merchants' marketing is based on this immediacy. Whilst the law remains in the balance, many consumers have made claims against their credit cards providers for the charges that they have incurred, plus interest that they would have earned had the money not been deducted from their account. It is likely that claims for amounts charged in excess of £12 will succeed, but claims for charges at the OFT's £12 threshold level are more contentious. The United States Secret Service, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and U.S. Postal Inspection Service are responsible for prosecuting criminals who engage in credit card fraud in the United States, but they do not have the resources to pursue all criminals. Additionally, there are security features present on the physical card itself in order to prevent counterfeiting. For example, most modern credit cards have a watermark that will fluoresce under ultraviolet light. Most major credit cards have a hologram. For example, most banks in the U.S. offer credit cards based upon the lowest U.S. prime rate as published in the Wall Street Journal on the previous business day to the start of the calendar month. For example, a rate given as 99% plus the prime rate will be 199% when the prime rate is 00% (such as the end of 2005). These rates usually also have contractual minimums and maximums to protect the consumer (or the bank, as it may be) from wild fluctuations of the prime rate. While these accounts are harder to budget for, they can theoretically be a little less expensive since the bank does not have to accept the risk of fluctuation of the market (since the prime rate follows inflation rates, which affect the profitability of loans). A fixed rate can be better for consumers who have fixed incomes or need control over their payments budgets. Credit card debt has increased steadily. Some people will have a credit card because it is the most convenient way to pay for online shopping. Online shopping can be the most convenient way of shopping to some people, especially to those who have not had time for going out to malls. Online shops usually charge their clients through credit cards. In 2012 in the United States, due to increased gasoline (gas) prices, gas cash back cards or gas rebate credit cards became very popular among consumers. Companies provide an average of 3% APR on new gas credit cards. The main idea behind gasoline discount cards is that cardholders obtain a sure percent of the sum they consume on gasoline each month in the form of a rebate check at the end of the year. It works similarly to a cashback discount recognition card with one noteworthy exception: the gasoline discount is frequently applied each month, whereas most cashback cards ship away discount checks formerly a year. This makes the savings easier to view for most consumers. Internet fraud may be by claiming a chargeback which is not justified ("friendly fraud"), or carried out by the use of credit card information which can be stolen in many ways, the simplest being copying information from retailers, either online or offline. Despite efforts to improve security for remote purchases using credit cards, security breaches are usually the result of poor practice by merchants. For example, a website that safely uses SSL to encrypt card data from a client may then email the data, unencrypted, from the webserver to the merchant; or the merchant may store unencrypted details in a way that allows them to be accessed over the Internet or by a rogue employee; unencrypted card details are always a security risk. Even encryption data may be cracked. The size of most credit cards is 360;3⁄8 × 260;1⁄860;in (860 × 59860;mm), conforming to the ISO/IEC 7810 ID 1 standard. The only common security measure on all cards is a signature panel, but, depending on its exact design, a signature may be relatively easy to forge. Some merchants will demand to see a picture ID, such as a driver's license, to verify the identity of the purchaser, and some credit cards include the holder's picture on the card itself. In some jurisdictions, it is illegal for merchants to demand card holder identification. Self serve payment systems (gas stations, kiosks, etc.) are common targets for stolen cards, as there is no way to verify the card holder's identity. There[where?] is also a new law that has been implemented that identification or a signature is only required for purchases above $50, unless stated in the policy of the merchant. This new law makes it easier for credit card theft to take place as well because it is not making it necessary for a form of identification to be presented, so as long as the fraud is done at what is considered to be a small amount, little to no action is taken by the merchant to prevent it.

In recent times, credit card portfolios have been very profitable for banks, largely due to the booming economy of the late 1990s. First things first though, there's some things you need to know about credit cards. This is a new claim which is becoming well known about as more and more people make successful claims and have their credit cards and loan debts written off. It has been estimated that as many as 80% of financial agreements taken out before 2007 are unenforceable agreements as they don't comply with the 1974 Consumer Credit Act. It is possible to have any financial agreement audited by a solicitor to assess for breaches in the law. If any breaches are found, the contract can be challenged with a view to having the balance completely written off. Bad credit cards are those specifically aimed at helping those with poor credit ratings, or even no credit ratings. Although at the moment the credit industry is feeling the pinch, there are still credit cards available for those with poor or bad credit. However, if you consider that you fall into this category, or have been experiencing difficulty obtaining a credit card because of your credit file, there are a few aspects of adverse credit cards that you need to be aware of. The table below contains a list of benefits offered in the United States for consumer credit cards. Benefits may vary in other countries or business credit cards. Credit cards are produced in BIN ranges. Where an issuer does not use random generation of the card number, it is possible for an attacker to obtain one good card number and generate valid card numbers by changing the last four numbers using a generator. The expiry date of these car IDs would most likely be the same as the good card.

Merchants are charged several fees for accepting credit cards. The merchant is usually charged a commission of around 1 to 4 percent of the value of each transaction paid for by credit card. The merchant may also pay a variable charge, called a merchant discount rate, for each transaction. In some instances of very low value transactions, use of credit cards will significantly reduce the profit margin or cause the merchant to lose money on the transaction. Merchants with very low average transaction prices or very high average transaction prices are more averse to accepting credit cards. In some cases merchants may charge users a "credit card supplement" (or surcharge), either a fixed amount or a percentage, for payment by credit card. This practice is prohibited by most credit card contracts in the United States, and is actually illegal in 10 states, although the contracts allow the merchants to give discounts for cash payment. In the United Kingdom, merchants won the right through The Credit Cards (Price Discrimination) Order 1990 to charge customers different prices according to the payment method. As of 2007, the United Kingdom was one of the world's most credit card intensive countries, with 4 credit cards per consumer, according to the UK Payments Administration Ltd.

A credit card issuing company, such as a bank or credit union, would enter into agreements with merchants for them to accept their credit cards. However, these rewards credit cards have some disadvantages. Most rewards plastics usually come with higher APR, so you can accrue a credit card debt instead of rewards. A growing field of numismatics (study of money), or more specifically exonumia (study of money like objects), credit card collectors seek to collect various embodiments of credit from the now familiar plastic cards to older paper merchant cards, and even metal tokens that were accepted as merchant credit cards. Early credit cards were made of celluloid plastic, then metal and fiber, then paper, and are now mostly polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastic. The United States Secret Service, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and U.S. Postal Inspection Service are responsible for prosecuting criminals who engage in credit card fraud in the United States, but they do not have the resources to pursue all criminals. In general, federal officials only prosecute cases exceeding $5,00 Three improvements to card security have been introduced to the more common credit card networks but none has proven to help reduce credit card fraud so far. BAD CREDIT HISTORY?

Prior to credit cards, each merchant had to evaluate each customer's credit history before extending credit. That task is now performed by the banks which assume the credit risk. Credit cards can also aid in securing a sale, especially if the customer does not have enough cash on his or her person or checking account. Extra turnover is generated by the fact that the customer can purchase goods and/or services immediately and is less inhibited by the amount of cash in his or her pocket and the immediate state of his or her bank balance. Much of merchants' marketing is based on this immediacy.

The size of most credit cards is 360;3⁄8 × 260;1⁄860;in (860 × 59860;mm), conforming to the ISO/IEC 7810 ID 1 standard. Credit cards have a printed or embossed bank card number complying with the ISO/IEC 7812 numbering standard. Both of these standards are maintained and further developed by ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 17/WG Before magnetic stripe readers came into widespread use, plastic credit cards issued by many department stores were produced on stock ("Princess" or "CR 50") slightly longer and narrower than 781 The fact that credit card companies can change the interest rate on debts that were incurred when a different rate of interest was in place is similar to adjustable rate mortgages where interest rates on current debt may rise. It's best to use cash instead of credit cards for everyday purchases like groceries, fuel, watching a movie, etc. Using credit card can become quite addicting if you use it every chance you get so if you have the funds, always use cash. Low introductory credit card rates are limited to a fixed term, usually between 6 and 12 months, after which a higher rate is charged. As all credit cards charge fees and interest, some customers become so indebted to their credit card provider that they are driven to bankruptcy. Some credit cards often levy a rate of 20 to 30 percent after a payment is missed. In other cases a fixed charge is levied without change to the interest rate. In some cases universal default may apply: the high default rate is applied to a card in good standing by missing a payment on an unrelated account from the same provider. This can lead to a snowball effect in which the consumer is drowned by unexpectedly high interest rates. Further, most card holder agreements enable the issuer to arbitrarily raise the interest rate for any reason they see fit. First Premier Bank at one point offered a credit card with a 79% interest rate; however, they discontinued this card in February 2011 because of persistent defaults.

However, if you consider that you fall into this category, or have been experiencing difficulty obtaining a credit card because of your credit file, there are a few aspects of adverse credit cards that you need to be aware of. Additionally, there are security features present on the physical card itself in order to prevent counterfeiting. For example, most modern credit cards have a watermark that will fluoresce under ultraviolet light. Most major credit cards have a hologram. A Visa card has a letter V superimposed over the regular Visa logo and a MasterCard has the letters MC across the front of the card. Older Visa cards have a bald eagle or dove across the front. In the aforementioned cases, the security features are only visible under ultraviolet light and are invisible in normal light.

Almost all the banks issuing credit cards issue various guidelines and suggestions to the customers from time to time in order to cut short the rate of credit card frauds and misuse to a minimum possible level. It's best to use cash instead of credit cards for everyday purchases like groceries, fuel, watching a movie, etc. Using credit card can become quite addicting if you use it every chance you get so if you have the funds, always use cash. There are very few people who enjoy professional networking events. Sure, some people love them because they like to be the life of the party and to meet others in their field who will appreciate this quality about them. But most people find these professional events to be a social obligation that's moderately enjoyable at best. One of the main reasons for this is that many professionals really don't know what to talk about with others during these events. Some people have found that if they compare business credit cards with strangers, the ice is broken and the event goes more smoothly. Usually, if a customer is late paying the balance, finance charges will be calculated and the grace period does not apply. Finance charges incurred depend on the grace period and balance; with most credit cards there is no grace period if there is any outstanding balance from the previous billing cycle or statement (i.e. interest is applied on both the previous balance and new transactions). However, there are some credit cards that will only apply finance charge on the previous or old balance, excluding new transactions.

Many banks offer very low interest, often 0%, for a certain number of statement cycles on certain sub balances ranging from the entire balance to purchases or balance transfers (used to pay off other accounts), or only for buying certain merchandise in stores owned or contracted with by the lender. Such "zero interest" credit cards allow participating retailers to generate more sales by encouraging consumers to make more purchases on credit. Additionally, the bank gets a chance to increase income by having more money lent out, and possibly an extra marketing transaction payment, either from the payee or sales side of the business, for contributing to the sale (in some cases as much as the entire interest payment, charged to the payee instead of the cardholder).

The unembossed credit cards are similar to cards already being accepted, and merchants should look for the new cards in the form of a credit, debit or prepaid card. The only difference is all information, including the cardholder name, primary account number (PAN), validity date and security character, is laser engraved, thermal or indent printed securely on the front of the card. One more popular reason for having multiple credit cards is different credit card rewards. Since today credit card companies offer a wide range of plastics with various rewards programs, it won't be difficult to enjoy different perks that rewards credit cards can give you. It's important to read everything you need to know before you apply for credit cards. Check the interest rates, grace periods, and the fees and charges that come with using the card. Stay away from credit cards that require annual fees. In addition, interest rates can be negotiated so it's best to inquire about this when you talk with your would be creditor. Additionally, there are security features present on the physical card itself in order to prevent counterfeiting. Many credit cards can also be used in an ATM to withdraw money against the credit limit extended to the card, but many card issuers charge interest on cash advances before they do so on purchases. The interest on cash advances is commonly charged from the date the withdrawal is made, rather than the monthly billing date. Many card issuers levy a commission for cash withdrawals, even if the ATM belongs to the same bank as the card issuer. Merchants do not offer cashback on credit card transactions because they would pay a percentage commission of the additional cash amount to their bank or merchant services provider, thereby making it uneconomical. Discover is a notable exception to the above. A customer with a Discover card may get up to $50 cash back if the merchant allows it. This amount is simply added to the card holder's cost of the transaction and no extra fees are charged as the transaction is not considered a cash advance.

Visa teamed with Apple in September 2014, to incorporate a new mobile wallet feature into Apple's new iPhone models, enabling users to more readily use their Visa, and other credit cards. However, these rewards credit cards have some disadvantages. Most rewards plastics usually come with higher APR, so you can accrue a credit card debt instead of rewards. That is why, it's better to pay off your balance in full each month to avoid debt problems. A credit card issuing company, such as a bank or credit union, would enter into agreements with merchants for them to accept their credit cards. Merchants often advertise which cards they accept by displaying acceptance marks - generally derived from logos - or may communicate this orally, as in "We take (brands X, Y, and Z)" or "We don't take credit cards".
